NewBasfordlad 3,599
#4211 That conversion must have happened in the last few years, its only 10 years back I supplied their maintenance team with a couple of Sangmo mechanical clocks for them.

Compo 10,326
Rummaging through some stuff over the weekend, I came across these items that you certainly con't see any more. MelissaJKelly 2,120
You're right Compo. I've never in my lifetime had anything other than a red/burgundy passport.

catfan 14,793
I could never understand why a packet of crisps in a multi-pack was smaller than a regular pack, con or what ?
NewBasfordlad 3,599
Best one was a few years back when they cut the width of a toilet roll without announcement must have made them a fortune from the savings in paper costs.
BilboroughShirley 1,120
A TV report this evening said that a major brand of toilet roll now has 21 sheets less per roll! Will this cut also reduce workload at the sewage processing plant? Gut reactions!
FLY2 10,108
I still continue to blame the introduction of metrication for these constant reductions in size.
Oztalgian 3,218
They are stealthily reducing the amount of beer you get in bottled beer here, the "normal size of a bottle used to be 375ml (millilitres) many beers were then packaged in 345ml and now some are even 330ml. For some reason beer seemed to escape the unit pricing labelling requirements. Don't care about chocolate getting smaller as I don't usually eat it but when it comes to beer that is getting serious.
MelissaJKelly 2,120
330ml for a bottled beer? That is tiny! Like a Pepsi can! I've bought bottled ciders which come in 550ml bottles here!
