BeestonMick 263
Trouble is, as far as I know, you have to take a landline for broadband. Yes but you only need the connection, you don't have to have the phone. I shud've qualified that, I was on about the phone (the old bakelite thing) not the cable. MargieH 7,594
If you only have a connection, with no phone connected, do you still have to pay for phone rental?
catfan 14,793
Line rental applies ?
TBI 2,351
I'm not aware of any broadband supplier that doesn't impose a line rental, irrespective of whether a phone is used. If anyone knows of one, I'll be jumping soonest.

Michael Booth 7,364
I had to smile at mick2me's post, #3143 'Horizontal and vertical hold on your TV' It was so annoying when you were watching 'The Adventures Of Robin Hood' and the picture started moving around. You'd miss half of the programme as you messed about with a screwdriver trying to fix it.
