loppylugs 8,427
3996. That brought back a few memories, Compo. Dark winter nights sitting in there with a bike lamp. Hoping the spiders and other creepy crawlies were not feeling too aggressive.
Oztalgian 3,269
Compo #3998, I remember Izal. "Toilet Tissue" my ar5e more like 600 grade wet and dry paper and no good using todays newspapers as the ink comes of too easily and you would end up with a coloured bum

catfan 14,793
One thing you don't see anymore is people talking together much. The art of conversation is disappearing. Bleddy smartphones responsible for that, people would rather sit tapping the phone screen texting instead !
loppylugs 8,427
4003. Didn't the ink rub off The Times, then?

loppylugs 8,427
I've got quite a few of those, unopened. We bought them because we were told they would be taxed heavily because folks were recording commercial music on them. Then they quickly became history when recordable CDs showed up. I probably need to toss 'em. They are just taking up room in a drawer now.
