#2339 Bubble. No more conductors on the trams. You have to buy a ticket from a machine and validate it before getting on the tram. Those that travel free just validate their card. Down the line half a dozen inspectors jump on the tram, and before it moves off inspect all tickets and cards.

They're still ticket inspectors though. And there are usually two of them and they can get on at any stop & get off at the next one.

And I do use the tram when I come to Nottingham (at least twice a month.)

Those top pocket handkerchiefs that were just a small piece of cloth fastened to a piece of cardboard.

Expandable arm bands to hold a shirt sleeve back when they were too long.

Detachable shirt collars with collar studs to fasten them to the shirt.

And I've not seen in years cuff links but they may still exist.

I have a watch & chain, three pairs of cuff links & about 40 ties all silk.(kept in a drawer)

Not only have em,commo' wore em at work this morning and me Armbands,and still have Segs,did'nt wear them shoes this morning though.
