MelissaJKelly 2,120
Thanks for that Dave! I was struggling trying to remember where she got it from but you're right B&M it is! I think some £1 shops do it too! As for #2391 don't know how she dare Ian! I haven't been in around 4 years now but doubt anything has changed.
banjo48 928
We still get Cracker Barrel cheese here in oz. and Old Jamaican chocolate. Dad had a set of chimney rods and brushes and drain rods with curly bits that screwed in the end to dislodge blockages ! Yuk, one of the few jobs he did I hated was watching him rod somebody's blocked drain and the smell, he used to end up with it all over him sometimes, don't know how mum let him in the house after some jobs he did. But it was all part of the job of a general builder. His clothes went in a bucket and him straight in the bath afterwards !
tony1 118
Sitting here, waching TV and adverts... I am reminded that the breaks and programs were once punctuated with "End of Part One" and "Part two" etc., We don't see that any more.

mercurydancer 1,104
Those top pocket handkerchiefs that were just a small piece of cloth fastened to a piece of cardboard. Expandable arm bands to hold a shirt sleeve back when they were too long. Detachable shirt collars with collar studs to fasten them to the shirt. And I've not seen in years cuff links but they may still exist. I always wear cuff links on my shirt cuffs. Very smart they are too
