Soul Music Trivia Question

Its not the answer, but How did the BeeGees ever get away with

a son with such crap lyrics as this.

In the event of something happening to me,

there is something I would like you all to see.

It's just a photograph of someone that I knew.

Have you seen my wife, Mr. Jones?

Do you know what it's like on the outside?

Don't go talking too loud, you'll cause a landslide, Mr. Jones.

I keep straining my ears to hear a sound.

Maybe someone is digging underground,

or have they given up and all gone home to bed,

thinking those who once existed must be dead.

Have you seen my wife, Mr. Jones?

Do you know what it's like on the outside?

Don't go talking too loud, you'll cause a landslide, Mr. Jones.

I always believed R Dean Taylor to be the first white male singer on Motown, as I'm certain it was widely publicised in the NME and Melody Maker at the time.

Having enjoyed Motown the Musical last night on a West End stage I ought to be able to answer your quiz questions Ian as the show was based around the life of  Motown founder, Berry Gordy. However the

only made number 12 in 1967 though' . If it were out now it'd make number one for sure

Clue please Craig

Well done Beefy! Nice one!.........I said it would be easy....didnt I!

Now, another Easy one, what singer had the name "Bad" inserted between first and last names on his 75 song? And, to make it a little harder, name the song!

Ok.....The Righteous Brothers, and The Walker Brothers have covered, albeit only as LP tracks, a song from the Atlantic stable that was a hit in 66, although first released by its composer a few years earlier..............................Name the song and the singer of the 66 version, and if youre flash, (enter Stu) the singer of the original!

Good luck!
