An easy one:

He was born in Lenton on August 14th, 1896 and was educated at Trent College in Long Eaton. He joined the Sherwood Foresters at the start of WWI and was killed in action on May 7th, 1917.

Yep - not sure if it is still there, but there used to be a prop from one of his airplanes in the dining hall at Trent College. (My mum worked there!)
