Which is what the bike is propped up against .The garage could be Mann Egerton

Both correct....well done...

"....Looking towards the City from the side of the Albert Ball Memorial Homes. On the right is the west side of Chain Row which existed before this section of Church Street was opened in the late 1920s, after the bridge over the railway (in front of the large van) was completed. Chain Row crossed the railway by a level-crossing...."

I was too late to answer this! I recognise it as Church Street, Lenton, I grew up on Midland Avenue, which is just down to the right of the photo. There was also a little twitchell went through from Church Street down onto Midland Avenue.
