Bip 88 Posted May 10, 2007 Report Share Posted May 10, 2007 The Wollaton Arms nee Balloon Hotel on Trowel road Wollaton has finally closed and is waiting for the bull dozers and developers to move in to build three story rabbit hutches or as they like to call them these days starter homes. The regulars, most of them have migrated to the Hemlock stone down the vale and them who find the half-mile walk a little to strenuous have put their affairs in order and are waiting for the return of Davenports home deliveries to start up again. Me mums not very pleased with whoever pulled the plug because now she has to catch a bus if she wants a pub dinner at anytime. Bip. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
