philmayfield 6,089
I forgot about the spiraliser. What in God’s name did we buy that for?
Stavertongirl 1,713
Like the sound of a spiraliser - what is it, sounds really useful?
Ayupmeducks 1,730
The bread maker is great for mixing bread dough, they don't make the greatest loaf of bread, but they do save pain in arthritic wrists. Once the dough has been kneaded by the machine, drop into a large bowl, cover with a damp cloth and leave to raise, knock back, mould bread rolls or throw into a bread tin, cover and let prove then throw into the oven...GREAT FRESH BREAD!!
trogg 2,002
I have all those gadgets except the spiraliser and we use them, fresh coffee is a necessity, we don't use the bread maker much now. We use to use it when more when the grandkids were younger, they loved it when they came to visit us, it was a must to make the dough for cobs and to also make pizza dough to make their own pizzas for tea. EileenH 496
Bought a 'ricer' because the TV chefs said it would make better mash. Not strong enough to press the handles so I've gone back to the perfectly efficient tater masher! (Been trying to remember where the breadmaker is - it's in the loft!)
