Penny Farthing Choir

Recommended Posts

I did put most of this in another post, but it looks as if it might be bettter here. Apologies if you've been through it before.

Basically, I worked at the Hippo in '71 and then the PF/Scamps till '75 and then did about a year at the Bench and Bar. There are loads of people I should have stayed in touch with and now (in my old age) I really wish I had. I want to know how their stories went! So if any of you knew me then - please say hello!

If you didn't but you did know (and maybe know how to get in touch with)

Tony - who managed the Hippo

Andrea Maher - barmaid then

Wendy - barmaid too

Keith, Pat or Alex - Hippo DJs

Brian on the door

Mick McArdle - barman/cellarman

Alan Cotterill - who managed Scamps

Any of the choir

Glen Newton

Nev Townshend

Tony Widdowson

On the bar

Norma Palmer (later Norton after she married Mick)

Julie Warwick

Andrrea

kath Rose

Jean Hayes

On the door

Little Dave, Tom, Brian, Ron, Stu Morris, Bob Lord (Sukokai guy)

They all hated me so be careful what you say!

On the floor

Jayne Boyfield

Pip Langstaff

Judy Doughty

Carole Wilson

Jackie Davies - a County swimmer!

Sheila - the Bowie Bird

Marilyn Carruthers (worked at the Poly)

Andy Ash (went off to Ibiza)

Chris Pringle

kathy Prince

Linda sanderson (hairdresser in Hyson Green)

janice sanderson (linda's sister)

Anyone from Cecil Gees!

Micky Norton - who managed Annabelles for a while and used to pour vodka on his cornfalkes!

Any of his brothers, but especially Ginger

Oh and Helen Sharratt

Big Al, DJ from the Ad-Lib

The manager from the Bench and Bar and his wife (they used to run the Brit)

And finally - from the 80s, a lady who worked at the Trent Poly called Michelle Allen

Even if you can't help, merry Christmas and thank you for reading this far !clapping!
