mick2me 3,033
Copied from Jans post in the Dungeon Club Thread http://nottstalgia.com/forums/index.php?sh...ic=4450&hl= just to redirect about the steam engine.... It was a painting on the wall of a train coming out of tunnel as you went downstairs to the dance floor..anybody know what happened to Paul and Charlie Brown who were always there???? Don't know what happened to Paul and Charlie, but I remember them from the Palais in around 1969. They did a dance routine. The floor was cleared though the Palais was packed. They came dancing out of the crowd to the sounds of Shing-A-Ling Stroll by Eddie Wilson. Two Funky Black guys who you probably know better than me. Were they just well known clubbers, or were the in the business. They must be getting on now? probably older than me? Thanks for reminding me of more semi-famous Nottinghamians

siddha 822
Charlie used to hang out with some of the scooter lads that went to the Brit, this is before '69. I think he worked with Andy Clifford; anyway a very nice guy to have known.
