Which school for girls in Carrington ?

Also, near to Manning school was Forest Fields Grammar school.

I don't know about 1964 but in 1958 a girl from William Crane junior girls passed her 11plus and chose Forest Fields Grammar. It may have been mixed then, perhaps the only mixed grammar in Nottingham [don't quote me on that!] I think it kept its Forest Fields name for a long time after that.

Forest Fields Grammar School was created in 1954 when High Pavement Grammar School moved out to their new premises at Gainsford Crescent, Bestwood.

Never any Berridge connection...
