BAZZER 10
Does anyone know which school a 14/15 year old girl would go to if she lived in Carrington in about 1964 ? I'm guessing a normal either Secondary or girls school. thanks

katyjay 5,091
I don't know about 1964 but in 1958 a girl from William Crane junior girls passed her 11plus and chose Forest Fields Grammar. It may have been mixed then, perhaps the only mixed grammar in Nottingham [don't quote me on that!] I think it kept its Forest Fields name for a long time after that. rob237 89
Forest Fields Grammar School was created in 1954 when High Pavement Grammar School moved out to their new premises at Gainsford Crescent, Bestwood. Never any Berridge connection... Cheers Robt P.
