Unveiling of the Brian Clough statue

Recommended Posts

I'm glad that it's situated in the centre of the city but I must admit to wondering what kind of behaviour it might attract in it's proximity on the likes of an average Friday or Saturday night.

Incidentally, I'm not a Forest supporter but I can appreciate the man (and Peter Taylor's) great achievements in this city. Those guys worked wonders, warts and all. Their like will never be seen again anywhere, let alone in Nottingham.

Yes growing on me too...

Initially, I preferred the candidate statue which was pointing - but the winner bears much resemblance.

Looking forward to a close inspection next week...

Trust the pondlife keep off it over the weekend.

Cheers

Thanks for the pictures, certainly a vast improvement on those that appeared in the press at the unveiling.

Wonder how long before the 'City Ground' plaque is defaced?

Cheers

Looking @ the other 8 or so plaques around the statue San Siro / Old Trafford / Wembley etc , it looks like the City Ground one as already taken a few

stamps & spittle !

These must be some of the best images of the tribute anywhere on the net.

Its nice to see mention of the City Ground as well.

You should have draped a Forest scarf round their Necks?

Nah perhaps not Eh?
