littlebro 234
It's a long clip but well worth it. She is in New York now, bet she does not look so grand. Fynger, if I'd known you were piloting it I'd have waved back!

rob237 89
Excellent...thanks for posting. Rather makes you wonder how the hearing of those sat at the back, and effectively behind the reheat blast, was affected? Recall waiting alongside one, in a 747 at Heathrow, as it took off for New York. The Jumbo was shaken to its foundations! "Don't be concerned when Concorde sets off" our Captain had said, "our shaking is quite normal"! Cheers Robt P.
littlebro 234
Hi Beefsteak, It was 28th August 1994 - she had just been redelivered from refit, absolutely gleaming. The plane behind at take-off was a Tupolev - a bit like a Moskvic following a Bentley.

Frank 13
Nice bit of footage. thanks. I remember when we used to take the kids to EMA on a Sunday up to the first floor viewing area. Used to stand behind the glass and watch all sorts of planes take off and landing. Got some photo's somewhere.
