zab 47
Not sure if any of you have noticed that Yahoo has changed it's privacy policy. If you belong to any Yahoo Groups you need to be aware that Yahoo is now using "Web Beacons" to track every Yahoo Group user. It's similar to cookies, but allows Yahoo to record every website and every group you visit. The updated page is here - http://info.yahoo.com/privacy/uk/yahoo/ Just over half-way down the page, in the section on cookies, you will see a link to Web Beacons; the link takes you to the following page- http://info.yahoo.com/privacy/uk/yahoo/webbeacons/ And the following statement, Yahoo! uses web beacons to conduct research on behalf of certain partners on their web sites. This research helps to measure and improve the effectiveness of certain advertising. Information recorded through these web beacons is used to report aggregate information about Yahoo! users to our partners. This aggregate information may include demographic and usage information. No personally identifiable information about you is shared with partners from this research. A bit naughty if you ask me. There is an option to opt-out on this page but please note the opt-out is machine specific so you'll need to opt-out on all your pc's.
Ashley 288
IF no personal info etc then no real complaints? there are some real iffy groups etc and it could be that without this happening there may be a total ban and fans of innocent groups like "fishermans waders and flying goggles" or "welders aprons and gas masks" might miss out, lol

Ashley 288
Are you in those groups Ashley? no they threw me out for being too extreme, same with mother in law, she was thrown out of the SS for being too violent, Actually it all stems from a motorcycle club's annual bus trip to Blackpool, (odd but it did happen!) On one somebody (not me!) had some magazine and in back were contact adverts, one of which actually read "guy seeks young lady into stockings and suspenders and gasmasks" or similar, by time we got to blackpool bus was in hysterics with all sorts of spoof combinations invented, "busdrivers overcoat and diver's helmet" "aqualung and moulder's boots" etc as well as those quoted, we were all innocent and naive back then!
