What was her name?

Recommended Posts

In the early 1980s The Evening Post ran a marketing campaign for their classified adverts.

Each evening they would insert an advert into the personals that read like a day to day diary of a young woman living in Nottingham. It was viral marketing 25 years before it was invented.

But who can remember the name of the young woman?

"She" used to post in the personal column all the places she had been to or where she was going. People used to send her messages through the paper, this went on for a few months.

Think she had a bit of a "snotty" attitude. Better than anyone else, some of the messages were not nice.

Next time I'm in town I'll see if I can get some print-offs from the EP microfiches in the local studies library.

As it's an N.E.P quiz thread,

What was the connection with the Evening Post, a Celebrity and Elephants?

No Bonus points for the actual wording.
