Robin Hood Film.

RIDLEY Scott's forthcoming Robin Hood film will have a traditional plot following the hero through the setting-up of his gang of outlaws.

The film, due to be released in May next year, stars Russell Crowe and Cate Blanchett.

The synopsis of the film reads: "The untitled Robin Hood adventure chronicles the life of an expert archer, previously interested only in self-preservation, from his service in King Richard's army against the French.

"Upon Richard's death, Robin travels to Nottingham, a town suffering from the corruption of a despotic sheriff and crippling taxation, where he falls for the spirited widow Lady Marion (Blanchett), a woman skeptical of the identity and motivations of this crusader from the forest.

For Sheriff read Jon the council leader, and things haven`t changed much since the crusades!

Who are these people?

William as Robin from da Hood, and Kate as a somewhat 'suprised' Marion (!)

Re. the Ridley Scott film.

What accent do you think Russell Crowe was pitching for there ?

(Unintentionally hysterical).

The late great Alan Rickman made the best Sheriff of Nottingham in my opinion.

Some great lines in that film too.
