FLY2 10,108
Elated to say the least. I wasn't enthralled by the possibility of trips to the likes of Fleetwood, Southend or MK Dons !
Merthyr Imp 729
Could still be visiting Fleetwood if they get through the play-offs.
catfan 14,793
#75. Unfortunately FLY I could not be there today, church duties annall. Thank you SKY TV for televising the match on a Sunday ! I for the life of me can't see any reason to celebrate today's win. The last consecutive five years Forest's end of season table position has got worse every year. This season they have evaded relegation by the skin of their teeth. If I were a gambling man I wouldn't bet on them staying up next season. But, stranger things have happened in the past, remember that Clough bloke ?
woody 552
Sadly the mould was broken when they made Brian Clough and I doubt we will ever see his like again.
FLY2 10,108
Of course, Peter Taylor's input shouldn't be overlooked. He was the real talent spotter, and Clough the motivator. A truly great pairing.
