The Locomotive 'Nottingham Forest"

Elated to say the least. I wasn't enthralled by the possibility of trips to the likes of Fleetwood, Southend or MK Dons !

Clearly we have been posting at cross purposes... Your reference - and that of John's - relate to the Midland freight yards and loco shed running parallel with Castle Boulevard. My misinterpretation

Yes, getting the bus at 10.30. Trent End today! Plenty of atmosphere.

#75.

Unfortunately FLY I could not be there today, church duties annall. Thank you SKY TV for televising the match on a Sunday ! :(

I for the life of me can't see any reason to celebrate today's win. The last consecutive five years Forest's end of season table position has got worse every year. This season they have evaded relegation by the skin of their teeth. If I were a gambling man I wouldn't bet on them staying up next season.

But, stranger things have happened in the past, remember that Clough bloke ?  smile2

Of course, Peter Taylor's input shouldn't be overlooked. He was the real talent spotter, and Clough the motivator.

A truly great pairing.
