And the front view

Groan, you all say, another bloody train thread, fair enough. For us keen types, and there are several on here, it was a way of life during this period, quite innocent and promoted by kids programmes

We have a daily train from here in Williams to the Grand Canyon. When it first was revived in '89, it was a steam engine daily, but over the years they've gradually gone to deisel, but on high days and holidays they put the steam engine back on. I love to hear it as it pulls out the station.

The Grand Canyon Railway's deisel engines run on recycled cooking oil. Don't know about smelling like a skunk, more like chips!

The steam engines at both Disney World and Ford's Greenfield Village both run on oil. Incidentally, they were both built by the same company and are replicas of a Baldwin 4-4-0

Mick, you know that I'm technically challenged, so sent you the pic of Hogwarts Express so you'd hopefully put it on here.

When we went to Whitby last year, there was a steam lorry that had been converted into a bus, this was doing trips around the town, it was pretty fast and a little noisy.

The owner was the driver of the Hogwarts Express in the Harry Potter films, as he worked on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway.
