One of the very best rock and roll instrumentals is THE BEAT by the Rocking Rs (London label) If I can find a way of putting it into the thread, I will.

'That Makes It Tough' is a song taken from 'The Apartment Tapes' which were recorded in 1958/9 onto

a tape recorder by Buddy Holly in his apartment. It's just raw Buddy and his guitar and it sounds great.

There are more songs from 'The Apartment Tapes' in the additional videos that come up at the end.
