It was chosen by Radio Nottingham listners?

It looks Irish to me?

Obvious when you think about it . 'Cause if they could see they'd be watching the telly instead of listening to the radio !!

Bloomin' awful: the Robin Hood has been lifted from some clip art. Was this the work of the same designer who created the wobbly N?

Anyway if they're going to fly it in the county that's their lookout. The City of Nottingham is quite separate and already has its own flag featuring the ragged cross.

Looks fine to me - even better with the Home Ales affiliation!

Den, I think it used to be 'blue against green, should never be seen, except on fools' Nowadays anything goes, colourwise. I don't reckon much to the flag, looks like a kid put it together.

Awful, how much did that cost the city? no thought gone into that whatsoever,

what happened to the city flag with the stags and oak tree design, was it designed that way so as not to upset any minority groups?

I much prefer the very first one on that link, far less 'busy' for my liking.

Perhaps someone here would like to design our own?

Alternative 'Nottstalgia Notts flag'

What would be on it?

Good afternoon

I am please to say we have lots of these flags in stock at *****************

These are price at £6 with FREE UK P+P

Whilst we are now based in Devon, I grew up in Nottingham and went to school in the city, so whilst I do apologise if this post may be a little cheeky, I do have a genuine interest in the new flag.

Many thanks, Mark

If we could copyright flags with images like that on, we would not now be in Devon, we would be in The Bahamas!

Luckily UK county flags, on the whole, are not copyrighted, this flag is certainly an improvement on the previous "commercial" flag.

By the way, Robin Hood is absolutely massive in the USA (far bigger than he is in the UK) and we are already sending this flag over to the States.
