I just wanted to plug a new online/offline group called the Nottingham Heritage Interest Group that a friend of mine has set up. The web address is http://www.meetup.com/nottingham-heritage/. The idea grew out of our interest in Nottingham's caves and the idea is for people to meet up and socialise at events relating to Nottingham's heritage and to help to promote some of the great history and attractions that we have in this city. It's free to join. While I'm at it, I may as well mention my humble, embryonic blog at http://spottingthegorilla.wordpress.com/, where I (attempt to) write about whatever interests me locally when I get the chance.
