Not too sure the owners of those wagons on first page would have welcomed picture the past's description of them as gipsys? as pretty sure they were fairground showmen camped up for the wakes? I know the later equiv of such who still? "overwinter" on Western Boulevard objected to such, picture of Severn St, brought back memories, had brief romance with girl who lived on it, nice girl but I was at time engaged, regretted it ever since!

I hadn't realised that the old Moor Bridge was a plate girder bridge. I thought it was brick arches like the span shown which I presume was over the river. Incidently that span was still there when I was young.
