Can't recall how many I have had as for 40 years got a new company car every two years plus our owned personal vehicles.

Can only remember the registration number of our first car. When asked the rego of the current cars I have to go and look.

As an aside I have not had a broken windscreen since 1975 and last month 2. one from a gravel truck coming the other way on a country road that was shedding stone like confetti. It made a bullet hole in the glass that was too big to be filled with  a resin repair and the other was some local scrotes chucking rocks off off a bridge on to the cars below. The rock went through both layers of glass and cannot get an OE replacement until end of May and the cracks are slowly creeping and getting longer.

I also have had a few cars, Master had a job and there was a car with it. So all other car's were mine,

First car not a car but a motor bike Batam 175 took us all the wayto sunny scunee.,  The wost car ever in fact there were 2   Rover street Wise  all though we went all around Europe but we were stopped in  Italy for not stopping at a stop sign, we were escorted to the bank by the nice police so we could pay the fine.

Next we had a little MG soft top sports car  worst!! Worst !!! car ever on my own one night, it was raining, speed needle stopped working, then wiper's packed in, then it just cocked its toes up,  plus i think that they forget to put surspenion any-were  in the car,

Best Ever Cars I have had    BMW 520i  yes it was a big car but luxury to travel in , Next Best car last one due to things catching up with us we had to sell it, not just so we did not kill ourselves, but also for other road uses to be safe, back to our car,   humble Ford Focus top of the range it did every thing but may a cup of tea,  it is the only car ever that I have made money on when I sold it £4000 more than what I patd for it.  Yes I do miss not having a car but I am still here.   Only regreat last car parked it's self never did try it out though.

A Mini back in the 60’s, 71 STO and a 1947 MG TC, FBT 20. The first number has disappeared but the second lives on. I forget all of the many others, none of which were memorable. For the last 25 or so years we’ve both had personalised numbers so they’re easy to remember.

I've owned 21 cars plus 1 van plus 3 Lambretta scooters.

Still got 3 of the cars.

I also had around 15 company provided vans in my final 25 years of employment.

I can remember about a third of the reg numbers and only have photos of the cars I've still got.

My first car was an Escort MK1 Reg RTV810G. I loved it and ran it ultimately to the end of its life when it was full of filler and fibreglass. It even had a hole in the roof at the end. Happy memories

I had a few of those in the 80s/90s...but they were called a sunroof :).  At various time I had two sliding and one tilting.

The tilting version had a bit of a leak if the car was parked during heavy rain.

Many years ago I popped into Gordon Lamb’s showroom at Chesterfield to look at a Porsche. I asked if I could have a test drive. The salesman looked at me scornfully and said ‘you need a pilot’s licence to drive one of these sir.’ I pulled one out of my pocket and showed him. The look on his face was priceless!

My fust car worra 1954 Ford Popular, reg, EEB 512. That were back in 1965. Never took driving lessons in a car. Learnt to drive on a double decker in 1964. Had lots of cars, many of them were borderline MOT passes/failures. Not going to bore you with my ownership history, but can say that since 2006 I've had nine new cars. Not that anybody is interested.

I passed my test in the Escort too on New Years Day (before it was a Bank Holiday) hardly anything on the road. The tester was a rather large gentleman and every time I changed gear I touched his knee as he didn’t really fit well in the car. Have often wondered if that was why I passed first time. I had great respect for my driving instructor who taught me how to cut cars up on Trent Bridge. Gave me lots of confidence. Now I usually moan if people cut me up!
