The Wells Road.  What's left of the  northern side of the Suburban Railway bridge, next to where the Gardeners Pub used to be.   https://maps.app.goo.gl/VqLHpvstQgzoBuVS7

Entrance to the old Alms houses on London road.

Certainly is @philmayfield but now owned by Nottingham Trent University & will be used for degree ceremonies & music.   What is this? What was this? Bonus points if you nam

Ashley, what an incredible view: Newfield Road.

The houses tumbling down the road and the train cutting across the suburban landscape. I can easily imagine you climbing up the steep embankment. How lucky you were to visit one of the houses, I would have done too with trains running down the bottom of the garden!

It's the kind of photograph you never get tired of looking at, you can always find something new.

Any takers on this location? It's one I took about 10/12 years ago and I've just looked on Streetview; the whole embankment is much more overgrown now.

For a clue - I was standing in the middle of a road (left to right on this photo) and I would have been under a long-demolished bridge with the railway going above me

The "Ginger Tom" has been gone a few years now, (Not sure if it went before I left Nott'm , but it may have been that long ago!)

I only recognised it as it's was always one of those "One day I'm going to climb up there and see what I can see" places, when passing on the bus, that sadly never did and now never will get done !
