Beefsteak 305 Posted February 26, 2012 Report Share Posted February 26, 2012 Unfortunately I didn't hear about it till around 2,00pm by which time it was back on the track s and just being driven away (as I got there) A bloody big train it was too !! (I've never seen one this big in this country) The front end The back end The whole thing Maintainance workers (The accident site in the background) Best I could get of the actual spot it happened And whilst I was there this beautiful Dunnock appeared at my side and started singing a wonderful song ! They deliver the track sections from Balfour Beatty, to the old freightliner depot next to Boots, for assembly, for delivery by rail, some of the track laying trains are over a mile long. They were testing a new track laying train on the old High Marnham power station line near tuxford last year.
