mudgie49 401
This sounds like a plan by these London boroughs,to offload the poor, unemployed, sick, ethnic minorities, and undesirables north. The last time London moved its' people, was in the mid to late 50s,the town of Northhampton became a huge council estate. The powers of the day, invented nearby Corby as the steel capitol of the world. They even brought unemployed ship builders from Scotland. Sad to say, it all fell apart in a very short time. Those politicians in Notts' Derbys' etc',who say there's "nothing can be done" are being promised something under the table. If you go by "no strong connections to London",that would be around a half million immigrants to start with. Time to pull up the 'drawbridge',and throw the politicians into the moat.
