Day out in Worksop and just couldn't resist a bit of "photo art" well she always says she needs the patience of an angel to put up with me so I thought it a good idea to give her a set of wings

What’s the attraction of Worksop Rog? I’ve never found it appealing. :(

To be honest mate it's not a patch on what it used to be, it gives the impression the councils have given up on the place and the locals just seem to have accepted it, such a shame really, the market used to be good too but in recent times that has dwindled to hardly anything, Retford seems to have faired better but that market has lost a lot of it's stalls so has Newark and Doncaster but we do still visit the places, who knows one day they will pick up, I do hope so for the locals benefit

You should see what is left of the once bustling market in Mansfield, six stalls on a good day. I know shopping habits have changed but friends tell us that Chesterfield market still thrives. I wonder if like plantfit says it is the council that have given up. Certainly, many in Mansfield would say that they are the problem for much of what is wrong with the town.
