katyjay 5,090
The picture of the bloodhound reminds me of something a few weeks ago. There was a beautiful bloodhound in the back of a pickup truck in Safeway's parking lot. I was making a fuss of it when the owner came back outside. We got chatting, talking about bloodhounds. He said he went in PetsMart recently with the dog on a leash. You'd think anyone working in there would know a bit of something about dogs in general. The young girl in there asked him what kind of dog it was, he jokingly said [knowing she knew nowt!] that it was a big red poodle. She went 'oh'. Duh!

DAVIDW 1,681
Wish I had seen that before . Just come back from a coffee in local Wetherspoons and their Christmas decorations look just like that . They have a permanent metal tree sculpture in the centre of the bar and the only decoration is an awful bit of yellow fleecy stuff draped around it .Would have taken a pic if I had known .
