Photos to cheer us up

Recommended Posts

When I were a park ranger at Holme Pierrpont, one of our duties was water bailiff. On a Boxing day I did the rounds and there was a fella sat there under brolley/tent thing. He was wrapped up to the eyes trying to keep warm. It were freezing cold, drizzle and grey overcast. He'd been there ages and when I went to check his licence, I asked if he'd had a good day? Not caught owt' but yeah, he'd had a cracking day !! He tried to stand up and was stiff as a board with cold. But had a cracking day.
