'Alien beings from a dying planet, their destination - the Earth. Their purpose - to make it their world'

And not forgetting:

'Where am I?'

'In the village'

'Who are you?'

'The new number two.'

'Who is number one?'

'You are number six'.

'I am not a number - I am a free man!'

I think 'Aye, aye - that's yer lot!' was Jimmy Wheeler.

Arthur Askey was probably best known for 'Hello, playmates!' and 'Ay-thang-yew!'

Mary 1947, Hello Children,  The man from the garden has just gone into his house for dinner. Watch with Mother

This was near the start of Bill and Ben the Flowerpot Men, After the Bill and Ben song, "Once upon a time there was a little house. All around the house was a beautiful garden, and down at the bottom of the garden was a place where the man who worked in the garden left his tools when he went into the house to have his dinner.

Did they ever say "Flobalob" in their language Oddle Poddle

It was from the series Watch With Mother

Monday - Picture Book with Patricia Driscoll

Tuesday - Andy Pandy

Wednesday - Bill and Ben

Thursday - Rag Tag and Bobtail

Friday - The Woodentops

Happy days watching on a black and white bush television with a postage stamp sized screen
