It seems to me that Braddy had the best idea by opening up a topic. Why couldn't Admin have thought of this? - instead of creating a divide. The vast majority of contributors will always have 0 warnings because the vast majority of contributors only make sensible, reasonable and intelligent posts. There are a number of functions available to Moderators and Administrators to enable them to act on any posts which may be offensive or unpleasant. Unfortunately, not everyone who registers for Nottstalgia is here to be friendly and civilsed. From time to time messages have been posted which were, for instance, obscene or personal - or both. Such messages obviously need to be removed as soon as possible, which is why Mods and Admins exist, as well as having powers to do things like merging threads, moving them to different headings, getting rid of spam, etc etc Quote Link to post Share on other sites

And if only each person can see their own status, then again, that's a good thing. If someone does get a warning, nobody else will be aware of it, and that's a good thing. Where is the bonhomie that used to preside within 'Nottstalgia'?
