Although no daily trains to Daybrook ran after April 1960, a BR advertisement dated March 1960 says there would be holiday through trains Sats only 25 June to 10 September from Daybrook, one for Skegness and the other for Sutton on Sea & Mablethorpe. I don't know if these ran or not. Per the Nottm Evening Post 4/4/1960, BR had decided Mapperley Tunnel was unsafe
