Oh to be 17 again!!! I did have such a nice back side, where the h#*l did it go!!!

 I wouldn't worry to much about that, from what i can't see i can imagine.[/i][/b] !situp!

I was referring to my WHOLE back side, not just my bum! I think backs are sexy. slywink

  2. Oh to be 17 again!!! I did have such a nice back side, where the h#*l did it go!!! The only thing I don't like about that photo is my hair. That's what happens when I get out of a pool and let it dry on it's own. Part wavy, part straight, I'm much pickier about it now. I didn't care back then.

My ex-husband actually had that photo copied onto a T-shirt and wore it around, a couple guys asked him where he bought it not knowing the picture was his wife!! That was flattering for me! smile2

  3. and just before i forget, how will i recognise you ? do i go on your photo which i have in a folder hidden on me hard drive which needs a password to retrieve, which i look at when i'm feeling lonely, or are you going to post an up to date one preferrably with less clothing on....

or is it a simple red rose between the teeth??????........................................ !rotfl! [/i] [/b]

How will you recognize me? What about that picture you claim to have saved in a secret place on your hard drive? I tried posting a new one (Hey Mick, did you get my e-mail regarding resizing?) but it was too big. I am in fact wearing less clothing in that picture... don't get too excited, it's a sundress! And I must say I'm sporting a pretty good tan too!

  4. St annes cali is where i was born it's an area of nottingham which has a bad reputation now for drug dealers and the odd high noon event...and the cheapest prosies in nottingham................... :victory:

Now BIP, how would you know where to find the cheapest "Prosies"?!

  5. Mick suggested a place called Fellows, Morton & Clayton near the trip. Is this place you're talking about anywhere near there? It would be nice if we could stay somewhere walking distance from the castle so we have somewhere close by to let the kids get some energy out!! Maybe you can go along and push my husband off the castle wall so we can run away together!!! lips0

  6. Sorry, don't know the area, is St. Anns a church? I saw a show on the Discovery Channel about drugs in England. They were interviewing a minister and following him with the camera, as he walked around the church he bent over and picked up a needle, and stated drug addicts frequently use the drugs right there on the church grounds.

You know BIP, I could cancel our reservations, and we could all sleep in your bed with you!!

 You know what cali that sounds a good idea, i'll kick the dog from his basket, he can sleep in the garage, did you say your fella was coming over too if not the dogs basket could sleep two little ones, it's big enough, the box room bed could be for your eldest and that just leaves my bed and you ?

steady BiP you hardly know her.................... :mouse:

My goodness BIP! You don't know me at all, remember you didn't show up for the last meet up, as innocent as it was!

I'm trying to get some input about having a daytime meeting (remember we'll have kids there) but only Mick has responded. If anyone is afraid of drinking in front of the kids, don't be. We have a "Kegerator" (beer on tap) in our back yard for barbeque parties, so the kids have seen it all! ;)

  8. Hello Robin, enjoy the forums!

(As much as I like his avatar, he might have a hard time finding a "nice" girl, but then again, good girls and nice girls are two different things!) ;)

  9. :Friends: If only i had the beds i would put you all up but alas i don't, i have four bedrooms but one i turned into a gym which has a electric jogging machine, cross trainer a leg curl bench and a bike and numerous weights scattered around, the room that i'm in with double bed, my office where i keep all my bits and bobs and this computer and a small box room with a single bed which opens out to make a double, so you see no room, sorry. just me and my dog rattling around..

You know BIP, I could cancel our reservations, and we could all sleep in your bed with you!! smile2

  10. Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I've spent HOURS online on PicturesofEngland.com looking for accommodations(which didn't have many good pictures of Nottingham I might add thumbsdown , you can submit your own) and VisitBritain.com and the search is almost over! ;) I found a place near Ashbourne called Cornpark Cottage £70 per night with room for all(I have to be near Derby cause that's where Grandpa is). We'll be staying there the first four nights, then we're off to Lincoln to a place called Tennyson Court (converted racehorse stable?) which was the same price with enough beds for 6 (anyone want to come?!) smile2 All we have left to find is July 31 in Manchester. Wish me luck, we may have to hide one of the kids as most places with family rooms only have room for 4.

We plan on making a day trip to Nottingham, so maybe we can plan a meet. We could make it July 26,27, or 29 (the 28th is my sons 7th birthday, so that's out). Let me know what you guys think. smile2

  11. You DO remember me!!! Thanks for all of that guys (and gal!!) We bought our plane tickets, there's no turning back now!! We fly into Manchester arriving July 25 and we fly home Aug. 1. Don't know where we're staying yet, having a hard time finding room for 5 anywhere! We're trying to plan a few nights in the Matlock, Derby area for the first few nights and we can make day trips all around, then the next few nights in the Lincoln area doing the same, and our last night near Manchester.

For those who love me lips0 and live in the Nottm. area (Mick, Crissie, BIP), I'm asking you to help me locate a B&B or guest house in either the Matlock or Lincoln area that would have room for us!!! There's a beer in it for you! thumbsup

  12. Hello all! I haven't been around for a while. Coming back to England in July, and was wondering if anyone knows anything about Nottingham caves? Is there such a place? I'm trying to find interesting things for the kids to do while we're there. (Pub hopping is out, the youngest one is 5!!) Maybe we can plan another get together if we can find a hotel with babysitting service! smile2

  13. I must admit, this Thanksgiving (You know that Yankee holiday with the Pilgrims and the Indians)was the first time I ever made a turkey! I'm really not a big fan of turkey, I usually make ham and beef wellington, but this time we got a deep fryer and did it that way. hungry It was soooo moist! Not oily, the skin immediately fries and creates a barrier to seal the moisture in. Usually turkey seems dry to me. Needless to say, you can't stuff a turkey that is submerged in 400F oil!! I do like stuffing that's baked on it's own though. Stuffing that comes out of a turkey looks too mooshy to me!
