    At one time old men did that often, actually I haven't seen that in a very long time thankfully. eeewww

    You're lucky Shari, my ex was a marine (and a cowboy to boot!) and it was VERY common all around the area near the marine base!! My ex used to leave spit cups all around the house! Blaaaahhhhh!!!! no2

    how come there is`nt any modern ghosts, how come they are all years old.

    and another thing..if ghosts can walk through walls why don`t they fall through the ceiling? answer that one.

    Because they don't weigh anything, they are light as air, they float!!!

    Oh, and there are new ones. My ex and I rented a house in Louisiana. The man who owned it had a hard time renting it out because his wife had shot herself and died in the house a couple of years prior. It was the nicest house we could find for the money, so we didn't let it bother us. It wasn't long before we started noticing things. Apparently she was a good housekeeper, because if we left things out, mysteriously in the morning they were put away. I intentionally left an empty soda bottle on the counter before going to bed one night, and in the morning it had been thrown in the trash! My ex swore he didn't do it. Also, I always left the babies door open so I could hear if he started crying, but often I woke in the morning to find the door closed (she was the mother of a baby when she took her life). Again, my ex swore he didn't do it. (He could have been trying to avoid hearing the baby crying!)

    Does the "NJ" in your name stand for New Jersey? I'm in California (Just take the I-50 from Maryland West for about 3,000 miles or so!!) My "mum" was from Nottingham, that's how I got onto this site. So is your Grandad in Nottingham? Everyone on this site is "American friendly" with the acception of a troll that keeps popping in under different names. He started out as Flat Cap Driver (you'll notice a lot of reference to him in the posts), but got booted off the site for his continuous abuse of members. He's come back at least once that I know of, but admin quickly removed him from the member list and deleted his posts! Everyone is very friendly here (for the most part!), some in England, some in America, some in Australia...all are welcome here! smile2

    What's going on?! I go away for 2 days and the site has lost 2 long time members and a new one!! The trolls have got to go!! They may be a bit entertaining at first, but they will ruin the site.

    "Elite" he may think he is, but it is unacceptable to have idle threats, and childish insults thrown at our members. It is still a thought by several members that he is a troll (someone who tries to disrupt forums). Most of what he posts points in that direction, still other posts have an interesting quality to them. I think he is a troll, but occasionally someone writes something that catches his attention, and causes him to write something of interest on the subject. It sometimes seems like he can't decide whether he wants to disrupt or contribute!

    Robin, the best website for when you're bored...this one!!! There's mystery, intrigue, sports, music, politics, and one grumpy old man to keep us entertained if all else fails!!...what more could you ask for?!! smile2
