I went to Deering in 1960 and left in 1964. Jake was the Headmaster. I lived in the Meadows all my young life , made many friends and still keep in touch with my old school friends from them good old days. Along with a school mate mick harvey we have set up this school web site at www.deering.org.uk. I organise many reunions, not only for school friends but people who lived in the Meadows too. hey hey santa fe, my favourite place then, can anyone remember carousel club, just off bunbury street, you went up all those steps, before you got to the top, the music of the sixties just blew ya away, two brothers owned it roddy was one , cant rem other one, so kool. I got in at sweet 16 then, they took me on face value, how i wish those days would come to me now i am older, dicko from kingsmeadow road

Ariba club on bottle lane, thats where i met my husband Alan rhodes, he is a Bulwell lad, me an old meddars gel through and through, and we are still together after 22 years, remember the chicken in the basket upstairs, the music and the ambience, going outside near flying horse and grabbing a taxi home, what memories that night club holds for us, and the meadows gang, if anyone on here went to deering school post me a message, i run that web site, with loads of pics, like bosseyed, thanks dicko

On June 30th Bosseyed Kippers will finally be closing its doors forever. There is a function being held in the evening at the "Stute" for all x pupils and staff, some i might add are still around and came to one of my Meadows reunions held last year. Dicko
