Dear People of wonderful Nottingham, I am writing with regard to an event we are hosting that people on here may be interested in attending. We are hosting a ‘1940’s Wartime Blitz Ball’ at Worksop Town Hall on the 3rd June 2005 to mark our British history and the occasion of the forthcoming V.E. Day. Included in the evening is a live performance by a Professional Swing Vocalist backed by big band sounds including Glenn Miller.
