Hi All Just thought I'd post this little beauty I came across recently. This is a small brass "banjo" Oil can. It is marked James Carver - Alfred Street Mills - Nottingham. From what I have been able to find out James Carver owned a lace making machinery company around 1860's and was a sherriff of Nottingham also. The Alfred Street Mills I believe were situated in Ashforth Street. If anyone has any further info would be nice mal
