Anthony Hall

I was born in 1938 at my family home Elmhurst Ave, Mapperley, Nottingham where I lived until getting married to my wife Angela in August 1961 when bought our first house on Barnet Road just off the top of Carlton Hill were we stayed for six years following we moved to Bingham building a new house at the end of my wife's parents garden are have remained there to this day St. Mary's Road, Bingham.

My father was a Refrigeration Engineer and I followed in his footsteps, I worked my way from being on the tools service and installation, then design and equipment selection reffered to as Sales Engineering. I later changed direction a little remaining in the Refrigeration & Air Conditioning but move over the supply of components and equipment to the trade spending my last 18/19 years with a Wholesaler Thermofrost Cryo Plc based at their Birmingham Office. I enjoyed my working time in the industry which also embraced spells of part time lecturing at Peoples and Basford Hall College and for many years was a member Institute of Refrigeration graduating to Fellowship (F.inst.R)

From the age of 10 or 11 I developed an interest in Photography sparked by watching my Grandfather developing and printing black and white film in his blacked out pantry. It remained a hobby for most of my life and I regularily did promotional photographic work for Thermofrost Cryo as well as a wide variety of photography for myself.

As computer started develop I took a keen interest which of course eventually gelled with my photography which too entered the digital era. Since I retired about 10 years ago more and more of my time became devoted to Photography and I now have my own well equipped studio setup where I take on assigments for Portraiture, Children, Family Groups, Model and Entretainer Portfolios.
