I was born and bred in Nottingham in 1941.Various places I lived at were Bardon Road.Wells Road.Whittingham Road..Horrible Sneinton Dale ( Was in those days)..Various Schools were.Walter Halls.Morley.and whatever at Sneinton.Finally at Cavendish sec mod. Various work places..Farm at Strelley.North park farm in Leics.Then.My big break. got a job at Wards garage daybrook as a motor mechanic.After this I went lorry driving..T.C.Campbell at Basford.Then K&M haulage Bulwell.I passed my driving test in a 3 ton Daimler Dingo Scout car because I was in the Territorial Army at Carlton...Finished lorry driving in 1967 and went to work at Spondon Power Station.Then Castle Donington.Then Berkeley Nuclear Power Station.This closed so I went to Hartlepool Power Station.Then Dungeness Nuclear power station.Took early retirement in 2000..I live at Greatstone.New Romney.Kent. 115 metres from high tide of the Channel.Got married in 1962 to Lynn (My Cousin)!!!!have a daughter and son now in their 40,s....Wife died in 2005 of a Brain Haemmorage..So now single.I keep fit with cycling/Weight training/Swimming/Walking.....and drink Gin and Tonics.There.Thats a weeks reading for you all...My Name is Richard Clamp.I danced at the Locarno and Colemans.Bye for now.
