I played snobs at school and marbles and cards games, all boy games ,oh and whip n' top. no girl games back then it was all boys school in 62/63/64

hi. compo, no you did not dream about them, it was real i worked in the paper trade, they had sellers all over city centre all shouting short names for the post . I worked in the lace market in the mid 60s /70s /80s got my post from a chap who would stand on the corner of broad street shouting eee-post, he had one eye and stood in the shop door way. Can't remember is name.

hi, a bit late this is ,I went to fairham school in 62,63,left 64. I was in sir. frank wittlle house, had good times, got the cane,the strap and slipper still a good boy now, did me no harm bring it back.

Was The Air Hostess Pub in the housing estate in tollerton?

i worked on the paper trains in them years, we would go to london by train to st'pancras and at midnight start work packing the papers. on the way back to nottingham midland station we worked in carriages full of papers for the shops to sell. it was hard work .low level station was also used. now used as fittness place on the other side off the bridge [london road].
