I can only buy one gun every 30 days & each time I have to fill in a background check $85

Yes .223 but I did get the 22lr upper that will see more use as the ammo price is through the roof, I did shoot each & both were on target with the latch type quick change Red dot scope.

Limited to 10 rounds in California.
When I was sighting it in I used a spring back target that when you hit it it does exactly what it says but I shot at it & thought I was missing as nothing happened until closer inspection clean holes in 1/4 in steel.

I had a few lessons back in the 50s with Jack Joseph behind the Theater Royal my dad had picked up a monster 120 bass Piano accordian must have weighed as much as I did , I remember taking a guys knee out getting it on the bus. Jack dumped me pretty quick as my goal was to play everything Allegro or faster I still have that problem even now.
Started playing the guitar about 4 years ago, I think I could have done something with this if I had started younger.
Into------------ Pink Floyd, The Who, Rolling Stones & the Eagles, Can play a few songs from each.
Cant read music but can play with TAB & memory.

The dog show we were at this weekend was in the combat zone
They ripped off the catylitic converter off our friends Toyota ($1700) in broad daylight in the hotel parking in a 2 hr time frame .
Then while showing their dog someone stole a Honda generator ($2000) off another person we know
All this in 105 deg heat
I didn't know Toyota makes a CConverter anti theft cage/lock. Will have to get one.

Cool hand Luke is my favorite actor + a very good race car driver met him a few times at the track he actually would come to find me.
Actually not a actor but we have a new friend that we have made recently her husband wrote the screenplay for Alfred Hitchcock the Birds & a ton of other stuff (Ed McBain died in 2005 ) will be with her this weekend

It seemed that when you hit 16yrs old it wasn't cool to be seen with a ice cream.

Rate it 9 out of 10 would have given it a 10 but we were both walking around like zombies after watching about 5 eps per night.

Few mins ago 101 deg just tried to start the lawnmower pulled it till I got dizzy got the back garden one to the front of the house got that one going finally but I was knackered Teresa took over & cut the grass .

Hovering in the mid 100-110 deg cooled a bit yesterday something went wrong with the webcam its only showing mid day.
As for cowboys if I head to Elmira about 3 miles away I usually see them riding the fields regulating the ag water. We do grow a ton of stuff around here but not allowed to grow veggies in your garden or peg out washing .
The only way to grow stuff is in pots
You can plant weed though if you have a med id card 8 plants that gets changed to 80 cos the stoners didn't go to school or that's their excuse .

4th of July soon & you always get some idiot setting of rockets even though fireworks are not legal around here
When the hills catch fire it travels so fast even in light wind & most people that live out of town are on Liquid gas (Propane)stored in a big tank you can imagine what happens when they go off, A well for water but if the power lines go down you cant pump it so you cant wet everything down.
Load up you stuff & leave ASAP.

I watched the F1 Qualifying & it looks like you lot are having nice weather also.
It made it to 105.5 here yesterday supposed to warm up a bit over the next few days.

When you ban the guns only the bad guys will have them.
Funny thing happened to me , I was teaching a few guys how to play cricket & on the way to the field I got pulled over by a cop for a brake light out
He wrote me a fixit ticket for that but wrote me a deadly weapon ticket for the bat that was inside the truck.
Funny thing you can ride around with a couple of rifles on a rack in the back window quite legal.
I got fined by the judge $25 then he has the balls to ask me if I could teach him how to play so I said ok $25 per hour.
