Poor old Oliver was born at number 6. He became a master mariner in Liverpool. Despite surviving all the sea could throw at him, he died when the Luftwaffe paid a visit to Wallasey in 1940 and scored a direct hit on his house.
Hello All,
I am carrying out some research on a William Oliver Tyers who was born in 1871 in Wasnidge Street, Nottingham.
I can find a Wasnidge Close on Google, but no Street. Can anybody help?
Thank you
Andrew
