Mick you are just a big Mr Softy,if I was there I would have ordered you a 10inch narrow glass with a 5 inch wide spoon,that would have kept you occupied,thus providing free entertainment,bearing in mind your record with things that dont fit

I played round glapton road,used that road to get to the embankment,they were quite close to ryland cresemt and bunbury st where my father and grandfather lived ,perhaps they sang round the piano together in the cresent pub,who knows.

If it was bensbooks it was next to bridgeway hall at one time it was
Selecta disc I think flewitts the bakers was near,I am sure
there is a picture on here somewhere,perhaps cliffton,can help,I dont
think it was next to the star of india if it is the same shop I remember,I have posted about bens book shop on here ,could this be your grandad ,the ben I knew was a smallish man with glasses,he had a good sense of humour.
