All the above information ann is my family, additional info from my
brother when my dad swam up the trent he dived to the bottom and came
Up with a loaded revolver, someone reported it to the police and they took it off him,my fathers sporting interests were curtailed when he joined the royal artilary as a driver,I know he drove officers around
My dad won many medals that were kept in his home on ryland cresent
that took a direct hit from german bomb which left a crater 40 ft wide
the wardens who knew my grandad salvaged some damaged medals which
my older brother has however most were blown to smitherines.

I am sure that you realised I was joking regarding free drinks,I personally like a laugh so humour is allowed. The post above shows that we are tight ,at the last mini meet up we put in a kitty to by a drink
between us and we all took our own straws, and as you can see by carnies
reply she is trying to wangle a free straw ,I am generous so I might save up and buy her and chris one straw between them as a present.

I have just been asked through pm if your parnter/wife/husband has to
be a member to attend meet ups,the answer as far as I know is no all welcome and encouraged,if anyone knows different please say,the only
strict rule that I know is (my drinks for the night are paid for the
night)and that of course this is not true because its traditional for mick 2me to buy everyones drinks ,although he might deny this you must remind him that it is membership rules

Seeing that orange lorry scriv ,still brings a tear to my eye,my old
man that won boxing and football medals ,representing nottinghamshire,
then losing his youth fighting for a country by the time of his death
he did not recognise but accepted that modern world change, and typical of his generation worked hard all his life to raise his family, never or hardly ever off sick.God I miss him.
