Do you have memories of food/snacks supplied by your mates parents i recall buying toffee apples off Mrs Mullins on blackstone st and being offered an array of exotic food from Shiv Sharmas mum coulours and smell seemed very dodgy at the time lovely family though they probablythought potted dog looked dodgy.

Can you find a word to rhyme that we can put on this site for all .time. It dunt have to be pretty it dunt have to be neat owt at all would be a feat As you can see i am no bard so follow me it isnt hard. Let them tease let them mock the fact you can nearly write will be a shock. Cos medders born medders bred strong in the arm nowt in the head. But bigger hearts you would not find thats what mecks nottm folk so very kind .Dont be dotty dont be rude we will all be barred if this gets crude .I am finished so over to you stop mocking me lets see what you can do .

Thank you Clifton never noticed so much detail when i attended there.

Alisoncc do you have any more damp old photos of meadows if you do please show. What makes this site so good is that no matter how good you think your memory is someone produces information or photos to remind you that only a fraction is retained. Incidently did the shop at side of the school have a old game machine that fired small ball bearings when you attended there .

-
Let all old meaders folk post a memory of a landmark from their childhood and its location because our generation is the last one to remember and you never know someone might be interested when were no longer thinking of days gone by .I remember old needle factory that stood behind houses on willersley st.
