I think it might be difficult because of the overall pattern on the photo but I'll see what I can do tomorrow.

I know they can take ages to correct. I've done a lot of old b&w photos for a friend and some of them have been badly marked , creased and ripped which obviously has to be done before working on the rest of the photo. Having sad that I find it to be rewarding when the person sees the result compared to the undoctored one.

You've made a good job of removing the marks especially on the sky and also changing the tone of the sky. Well done.

If anyone wants advice or help with manipulation/correction of their photos then please get in touch.

Interesting Katyjay - I wonder if your Miss Maltby at William Crane was the same as my Miss Maltby at Whitemoor a bit later? Or might they have been two (or more) elderly maiden sisters?
I went to Whitemoor and I can remember Miss Maltby and also Miss Widdowson, Mrs Barber, Miss/Mrs Healy/Ely and also the headmistress was Miss Bloom but if I recall she then retired and then we had a headmaster. Male teachers I remember are Mr Anderson, Mr Saunders and Mr Gregson

A phrase I hear regularly on t.v. is when some programmes such as Breakfast Time come to an end they say
"We''ll see you tomorrow"
They won't becasue they can't see the viewers!
Have you any phrases that annoy you?
