Ha Ha Ha very funny!! behave you 2
We are hearing that the bands song "Let the love back in" is being played on Radio 2 & I think it's been played on Johnnie Walker & Janice long's show too. He just heard they have scored a number one in a radio station in the US,above Nickelback for one!
I downloaded the song from UK itunes yesterday, great to be able to play it in the car B)

Cheers Mick will give it a go later

Thanks we love it. The peak is" Mount Buffalo" our very local mountain, doesn't get much snow these days but if it does get a dusting it's the playground for the locals.
If you do a "google" you will see that unfortunately there was fire damage last year, whilst I was on holiday in the UK my back yard burned!! In fact we lost a building which if i'm not mistaken the committee are trying to get rebuilt in readiness for the snow season[which has already started on the other mountains] Mt Buffalo is also the mountain which windsurfers & the like jump off with glee in the summer.
It's also the local place for suicide jumps,I kid you not

Hi Sis
Are you going to post something interesting? Tell them how you used to paint your lips blue just to look like Gary Numan.................LOL

It sounds as though you live in the country too BF. I consider myself very fortunate to live where we do,always something different to look at & 4 different seasons, unlike anywhere else in Australia, well nearly anywhere else. We have snow on the mountains today so keep your fingers xx we are going to have a bumper snow season

LOl thats funny!
When we visited UK last year I was surprised at how many Squirrels there were about & in the city too. We don't get Squirrels here, good job as the locals would shoot them, they shoot every bloody thing that moves.

Yeah I heard that too. We are surrounded by the blighters. We had a funny thing happen on the way home last arvo, coming down the dirt drive as we do after working, a large deer walked out of our paddock, across the path of the car ,not a look or a flinch & carried on walking into the pine forest as though he owned it..............well he does & i'm not going to try & take it off him either!!
-
Didn't know that BUT they sure can s*** all over my garden, drive etc etc.

Lol! Are there any decent Aussie beers how dare you Beefsteak! We have some excellent beers & I don't mean VB or Fosters either.
A friend of mine just came back from visiting the UK ,Italy & Bavaria & she was amazed at the price of drinks [$30 dollars for a glass of sparkling wine? ] & appalled that all of the drinks she was served were room temp, hardly chilled. Now don't know if you are aware but we Aussies like our Beer ice cold & our white wine the same, seems to me the drinking establishments need to get out of the square & visit a few "Foreign" countries so they are familiar with what visitors want & like.
Do we have any decent beer indeed....................

Mack the knife was written by Frank Sinatra & sang by Bobby Darrin as far as I know? and probably sung in plenty of pubs via Karaoke all over the world
